Professional Profile

J'aime currently teaches Instructional Technology as an adjunct faculty member at Woodring College of Education at Western Washington University. She also teaches Microsoft business applications at Bellingham Technical College.

Before joining the world of higher education she taught middle school for 10 years, introducing her students to social studies, language arts, life skills, and computer software.

Her love for education is not just on the education side however - she’s a big proponent of continuing ed for herself as well. She recently completed the Renton Technical College’s eLearning Design and Development for Community College Educators certificate program and WSU's Excellence in Teaching Online certification. She is also a graduate of the Apple Academy (technology integration); a Certified Microsoft Specialist (MOS); and “Google Apps for Education Qualified.” She has completed A+ Certification training, as well as Quality Matters (QM) certification.

Ms. Lemmer earned her Master’s of Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and her Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, with an emphasis in middle school education, from the University of Northern Colorado.

When she’s not teaching or learning, she enjoys spending time her with family and friends enjoying her beautiful community.
